Chase Heys

Chase Heys in Church Town provides services for Older People, including residential Respite, Intermediate and Day Care and therapy.

Users of Intermediate Care and Respite enjoy a private bedroom and share the use of a central lounge and dining room. We have our own therapy suite. There are other lounges available for use by your visitors. All areas are accessible by wheelchair users.

Intermediate Care

Our Intermediate Care rehabilitation programme helps you regain your independence following a period in hospital or after a crisis at home. Specialist treatments include physiotherapy and occupational therapy; all assisted by highly-trained Intermediate Care staff.

The aim is to facilitate the transition from medical dependence to day-to-day independence, aiding a safe and timely return to your home.

We also have a well-established Carer’s Group to provide support and advice.

Our Respite service offers high-quality care and therapeutic interventions that are both responsive and focused on individual needs. A flexible admission and discharge arrangement allows for placement in emergency situations where urgent respite is required.

A stay at Chase is an enjoyable, stimulating experience in a safe, homely environment. Carefully managed person-centred care planning is crucial to our way of working ensuring you and your family get the best out of your visit.

Day Care

Our person-centred approach extends to our Day Service, making it a pleasurable experience and where individual needs and wants are met in a warm and caring environment. Your carefully matched key worker will become a welcoming and familiar friend who will help you get the best out of life.

Our No 1 aim at Chase and across all our Day services is a stimulating and enjoyable time amongst friends with professional staff to help you enjoy activities like gentle chair-based exercise, social outings, bingo and reminiscence sessions that are regular features of our services geared to helping you keep healthy and happy.
